These photographs were taken during a few days spent in the Manu National Park, Peru, which is known to be one of the most pristine and protected areas of the Amazon Jungle. Manu is accessible by a long, bumpy and winding road (which can be cut-off during the wet season), with many parts of the national park only being able to be reached via motorised canoe or on foot.
The area is truly amazing - the flora, the fauna, the people, the villages and the river...definitely worth the visit.
