These photos were taken during the three days I spent trekking through the beautiful and isolated Lares Valley, taking the route known as 'The Weaver's Way'. The trek began in the town of Lares, with a quick stop at the Lares Hot Springs. The trek zig-zags through the valley, passing through the small farming communities of Huacahuasi and Patacancha, before ending in Ollantaytambo. The highlight of the trek was certainly meeting all the gorgeous children who call this remote and harsh landscape home.
